Kidding, I just didn't have time. The last few days in the US were hectic and all that crap. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go to the Great Mall or see my SJHA friends (minus Mary and Saba). I'm now planning ahead for next year. I'm still pretty bummed though =(
So where have I been, and what have I been doing? Good question. Well until the 5 am of August 13th, I was still in San Jose. Then I left for San Francisco (and the van people messed up -_- idiots). Well, okay forget SF, I left for New York. From New York to Manchester where they make you get off the plane so you can stand in line and get back onto the plane. Not even for cleaning, just...because -_-' Anyhow, then from there to Lahore, then to Karachi.
We were only supposed to be there for 10 days, but then we needed more time. My dad had some hip/thigh pain and so medical stuff took longer, and I wanted to look more on med stuffs. Then he had to go to New York for an interview. By the by, he didn't get the job.
Lucky me, eh?
Anyhow, it's safe to say that I hated my extended in Pakistan. Good things that came from it:
1. I got Chaos Sorcerer (card), and it's pretty awesome. Got some other good stuff, too (another Penguin Soldier, 2 more Fissuers, The Winged Dragon of Ra, Red Eyes Black Dragon, and Malevolent Nuzzler).
2. When we flew back on the 22nd of September, we got business class. Dude, talk about special treatment. It was really nice. You actually have to get up to reach your front seat pocket, as opposed to Economy where you practically sit IN your front seat pocket.
But I'm home now, and have decided to NOT go to school in Pakistan. Anywhere, just not there -_-
The worst worst worst thing to have happened, however, is the loss of some of my cats. I had 17, as you may recall.
Let's take out Windows and her 2, because they never came anyways -_- That makes 15.
Blindy has disappeared. Lovett has disappeared. Timon has died (heartache ensues). And, worst of all, Lost is ...lost. Don't even ask me how I feel. I don't think I can quite put it in words.
Um, what else can I tell you? Oh right, I got a job. A real one which pays--I'm told--good. I'm a teacher for:
5th grade English/Literature
3rd and 4th grade History
3rd/4th/5th/6th grade Geography
Various grades Story time (which is where I go into class, they have a story, and I have them read it)
I have no credentials, no degree, and no experience, but I got the job anyways. It's fucked up, but in a "it's good for me!" way. Yes yes, I'm taking advantage, now shut up. At least I can admit it, so ha. Anyways, so I'm going to ramble on this for awhile
Okay, so far, I've only taught the 5th grade class. We're reading Oliver Twist. The thing is that I only have 3 students, so we're put into the Preschoolers room -_- It's so hard for me to teach when they can't hear me over the crying, shouting, etc. Also, one kid barely knows English, so we're moving a little slow. It's not that bad, I'm just a little worried about him failing the class. I kind of have to put an extra effort too, and the other girls help, him, too. I just hope he learns something x_X I feel sorry for him though. We finished early one period, so I was just getting to know them. He moved from Egypt (like most of the kids -_-) and he has no friends or anything, and his dad's a store clerk. I saw him with no lunch, so I was giving him money to buy something, but he just kept saying thanks, and refusing. Too polite, dude. But yesterday, he greeted me, so I think he's doing better. I think I'll just have to find something he likes. I mentioned Beyblades, and he got excited, so maybe more Beyblades? o_O'
And I've helped with the
I had story time with the 3rd graders, and my theory has been confirmed. There is zero discipline at this school. Why? Because there is no such thing as a punishment. This one teacher told me that parents get upset about it. I man wtf? It's SCHOOL. The only punishment is having Ms. Ameera yell at them (Headmistress), which doesn't do anything really -_-' I'm going to talk to her about the idea I had. I really think it'd work. I spent some of my time in the 3rd grade class explaining what my punishment was, and one kid almost cried.
Cruel, maybe, but these kids are not human. They're some dog-monkey hybrids.
I kept telling him to stop eating, but would he? -_- I had to confiscate his food. Then he kept pointing to people saying they were eating (and they weren't), so I made him stand in the corner. Everytime I turned around (I was teaching them pronounciations of words, their accent gets in the way) he kept running behind the door. It was really annoying. I had him face the wall, but then he would hide under desks. I went to get Ms. Ameera, but she was too busy to come. And it's not just that kid, none of these kids know what a freaking CLASS is supposed to be like. You shut up, and you do your freaking work. I had to tell these 2 girls to shut up CONSTANTLY. To calm them down, I had them guess my nationality. It worked... until they guessed it -_-' Ms. Ameera came in, yelled, and then left.
It all went back to the way it was.
Then that kid kept running around the room, so I yelled at him so loud that even the people standing outside looked in. I got an idea and proceeded to explain the meaning of the word "Punishment"
Me: How many of you like break time? I think you all like getting outside, huh? Well, if I write your name on the board, like this, you will get 5 minutes from your break. If you get a checkmark, I will add 5 minutes. That's 10 minutes. That's a lot isn't it?
One kid almost cried, so at the end of class, I had to tell him that I wouldn't be punishing him -_- Kids, eh? My brother notices it, too. He's in the 6th at the moment, just for awhile. The education is satisfactory, but he needs social skills -_-'
So, basically, I work in a zoo and get paid. My salary is higher than most others since my dad works at the university. Word up, dude.
I gotta admit though, having power over little brats feels really good. If only Lost was here to share it with me.

I was really worried =( I wouldn't have been if I emailed you earlier, but it was so long I was like "oh no!"
Anyway...WORKING! Getting PAID! Ah, congratulations. Yes, little kids. ;) No matter where you go...they're INSANE. Come to think of it, every person on Earth is insane from ages one through...eh...seven or so.
